Born in Venezuela (1967), adopted Mexican citizenship (2017), currently USA permanent resident. BA in Journalism and Communication at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Caracas. Venezuela). Worked as a PR consultant for more than 20 years, both in Venezuela and Mexico, where she lived for 15 years (2003-2018). Freelance Spanish translator specialized in marketing, public relations and journalism, with certifications from the American Translators Association and University of Massachusetts – Boston. Active member of the ATA. Spanish interpreter at New Jersey Institute for Disabilities, Early Intervention Program. Deborah is married to a scientist/musician, she’s the lead singer of classic rock and roll cover band AXB in New Jersey, and frequent guest singer with the Klezmer band “Tsu Fil Duvids” (Too Many Davids), where she performs in Spanish, English, Ladino and Yiddish. Proud dog mom of a beautiful Mexican, Spanish speaking miniature schnauzer called Arwen.
